Hello dear readers. February has been quite the jam packed month for TTRPGs. The game I art direct launches this Sunday and it is the first game I’ve been a part of the fundraising for. I have a whole new perspective on the community.
So much work goes into every aspect of the process. As Dan has said about working on their project StoryBake (a baking TTRPG if you can believe it), there are so many spreadsheets.
So today we are going to highlight the work of many creators. Starting with our celebration of Black History Month!

Lola Johnson’s The Tower is a “system agnostic fantasy dungeon crawl“. It has 9 days to go on Kickstarter, has already funded and met all stretch goals, and is only £6 for a PDF or £12 for a physical copy! Check out their itch page here.
Girlfriend of the Week (GotW) by Michelle Jones and in collaboration with Gwendolyn Kelly is in playtesting AND there is a crowdfundr for a GOTW actual play called It Happened One Monday. Not only do I trust anyone with the last name Kelly implicitly, this is a romantic comedy horror game. With the apparent rise of comedic and romantic thrillers in media, this is a prime time to set your eyes on this game before it’s official release.
And if you are looking for something to watch or listen:

Speaking of two-player games: Party of One, “an AP pod focused on 2-player RPG experiences” is celebrating 400 episodes! In this form breaking 400th episode Jeff Stormer plays Project Ecco, a solo roleplaying game by Elliot Davis. While I write this, I am 3 minutes in, and it is a must listen.
Lin Codega, Rowan Zeoli, and Chase Carter launched Rascal, and I’ll let them speak for themselves. “We’re Rascal, a new, independent, reader-supported, worker-owned outlet for journalism about tabletop roleplaying games and the people who make them.” Please give them your attention, and your money if possible, because this is amazing for the state of news in the TTRPG space.
One last shout for Natalie Pudim’s game Warrenguard that hits backerkit this weekend. Those who have played the game, including myself, have spoken highly about it’s mechanics, character creation, and the fun they have had playing. I implore you to check it out, because Natalie’s work is phenomenal and it’s a privilege to work with her. Here are the metal dice to convince you.
This was exsactly what I needed, I wanna branch out into more RPGs :D
